Full Circle Childbirth Consultants prenatal classes review current developments in birthing, medical options, interventions, and the various alternatives available during and after the birth experience. Stages of labor are covered, with focus on physical and emotional supports, as well as hands-on comfort measures, for each phase. Education is also provided for the postpartum period, including the hospital stay and the first month at home. 

These classes are design for all couples, from those who seek a low intervention birth to those who are looking for techniques to deal with pain until they get an epidural. Couples interact and have fun while gaining knowledge and confidence.

All Full Circle classes are taught by certified instructors familiar with area physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and hospitals. In-person classes are held at medical and hospital locations around the Richmond area. Class size is limited to make sure you receive meaningful, individual attention. Fees vary according to class type. All participants receive a copy of Kathy Stewart's book, Your Birth Plan- Creating your path to a fulfilling pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.  

All GROUP childbirth classes are offered on Tuesday evenings, 7:00PM-9:30PM at Skipwith Baptist Church 1900 Skipwith Rd. Henrico, VA 23294. You will park in the back of the church and enter the lower level at the marked double doors. Register early to make sure you are able to attend the class that is most appropriate for your due date.
